Our process
How we lower your bills, step by step.
We review your bills, find the best opportunity, apply the right lever, and keep watching for the next one. Often at no cost or risk to you.
Lowering your bills with Developments CS follows four simple steps. First we review your bills across electric, gas, water, telecom, and IT. Then we find the best opportunity, the single move that will help you most. Then we apply the right lever for it, whether that is a grant, a bill audit and recovery, a better rate from a vetted vendor, or a cost-saving product. Then we keep watching your bills for the next opportunity. A lot of this is no out-of-pocket cost to you: when we lower a bill you already pay, we are paid from the savings, and when we bring you a better rate or product, the vendor usually pays us.
- PHASE 01
We review your bills
First- Send us recent bills across the accounts you want us to look at, electric, gas, water, telecom, or IT
- We read each one line by line to understand what you actually pay and where the money goes
- Nothing changes on your accounts at this stage, this is just us getting the lay of the land
- PHASE 02
We find the best opportunity
Next- Each bill is checked against our library of common billing errors and savings opportunities
- A person reviews every candidate finding before it reaches you, so what we bring you holds up
- We tell you the single best first move, then the ones that follow, in plain language
- PHASE 03
We apply the right lever
When you approve- A grant or rebate that funds a free or near-free upgrade, from HVAC and LED to other improvements
- A bill audit and recovery claim that gets back money lost to errors and overcharges
- A better rate from a vetted vendor, or a cost-saving product we provide and install
- PHASE 04
We keep watching
Ongoing- We keep reviewing your bills and surface the next opportunity as it appears
- We catch new billing errors and changes, and recover what they cost you
- We keep program enrollments current and flag new grants as their funding windows open
